A Realm Reborn
(This section is heavily under construction and will be more fleshed out later)
Three of Hydaelyn's chosen, Warriors of Light, came together through the paths that led them to join the Adventurer's Guild. Kerrian Connal, Wren Song, and U'mihr Tia took on several jobs together across Eorzea. Each of them possessed a manifestation of the Echo, which led to them being recruited by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, to defeat the primal summoned by a group of Amalj'aa, Ifrit.
Wren and Kerrian treated with the leader of the Sylphs, along with Yda Hext and Papalymo Totolymo, and encountered the Ascian, Lahabrea, for the first time.
Meanwhile, U'mihr and Y'shtola Rhul seek advice from the Company of Heroes to stop a faction of Kobolds attempt to summon the primal, Titan.
Upon returning to The Waking Sands, they found their new home ravaged, not a soul who remained in its halls left alive. The Scions remaining numbers had been captured by the Garleans. Before anything else, they saw to the fallen. The body of the fallen Sylph, Noraxia, was returned to their home in the Black Shroud, and the trio solemnly escorted the pall to the Church of Saint Adama Landama to receive funerary rites.
As they departed, they were approached by Alphinaud Leveilleur with a plan to rescue the captured Scions, and confront the more pressing matter of dispelling the primal Garuda, summoned by the Ixal. Their plan required the use of an airship, and their search led them to Cid Garlond and his missing crew.
With the aid of Haurchefant Greystone, a knight of Ishgard stationed in Coerthan outpost Camp Dragonhead, they recovered and rebuilt Cid's lost vessel, the airship Enterprise.
The assault on Garuda was interrupted by Garlean soldiers, touting their new war machine, the Ultima Weapon, which consumed the aether of the primal. It was revealed that the Garleans, aiding Lahabrea, intended to unleash their new weapon and cause a Calamity.
Finally, they rescued the remaining members of the Scions, but soon learned that Thancred Waters' body had been commandered by Lahabrea. The Ascian departed from them, taking Thancred with him, and leaving the Scions to regroup.
The Scions met with the Eorzean Alliance and implored leaders of all three city-states to launch an offensive against the Garlean fortress on Eorzean land. With the support of the Alliance, Operation Archon was launched and underway. The Warriors of Light infiltrated The Praetorium and defeated The Black Wolf, Gaius van Baelsar, and after a brush with death, Hydaelyn used her waning aether to aid in the destruction of the Ultima Weapon. Lahabrea was banished from Thancred's body, and all returned home, battered, but whole.
This victory marked the beginning of the Seventh Astral Era, and the Warriors of Light were declared heroes for their efforts in averting the Calamity and removing the Garlean presence from Eorzea.
